Analytics & experiments
Every Waveform site ships with first-party analytics and an A/B testing engine — no Google Analytics account, no tag manager, no cookie-consent theater for third-party trackers you didn't want anyway.
Analytics
The Analytics tab shows traffic for your published site: page views, top pages, referrers, and trends over time. Collection is first-party — data flows from your site to your dashboard and nowhere else.
Ask questions in chat, too:
"How did traffic change since the redesign?"
Conversion goals
Define what success means for your site:
"Track contact-form submissions as a conversion."
Goals show up alongside traffic, so you see not just visits but outcomes — and they become the success metric for experiments.
A/B experiments
On Pro and Business plans, test variants of any page:
"Test the current hero headline against 'Cakes worth the drive.'"
Waveform creates the variant, splits traffic between versions, tracks the conversion goal, and reports results with statistical significance — it tells you when there's a real winner versus noise, not just which number is bigger today.
Ending an experiment
When a winner emerges, promote it:
"End the headline experiment and keep the winner."
The winning variant becomes the page; the experiment's data stays in history.
Limits
Experiment slots per site depend on your plan — see pricing for current limits. Analytics and conversion goals are included on every plan.
